TITHING shown in 8 HEAVEN & HELL Testimonies

Will a Christian who refuses to Tithe Tithing testimonies of heaven and hell
or be obedient in offerings be disqualified from entering Heaven?? Big important question! In my years as Christian I have mostly tithed (giving the first 10% of our income to God), although Ive had seasons of being very anti-tithing & promoting all the various arguments against it. It was during that time God fully convinced me of its requirement for His people & its eternal consequences. From that background Id like to share what God revealed to me through: A.) 8 amazing testimonies of encounters with Jesus in Heaven & Hell where tithing is raised as an important eternal issue, and B.) in the Word of God.

A.)  The 8 Testimonies on TITHING from HEAVEN & HELL experiences

Here are 8 people who testify of meeting Jesus face to face in Heaven or Hell (or both) either through dying & returning or in open vision experiences. They come from many different nations showing God is spreading this warning message about Tithing widely to many.

1) Pastor Brani Duyon – After dying and going to Heaven he was given 6 Messages from the Lord & to tell the Church upon his return

Message 4 – “Tell My children, they must be obedient to give tithes and offerings,” said the Lord Jesus. While Jesus was giving me this message, He said “My child, look there” He showed me beautiful houses which are ready for His children. “My child, these houses are ready, I prepared for all My children that believe and are obedient to Me.” Then He showed me incomplete houses.  I asked “Lord, why are these houses not yet completed?” The Lord Jesus said “My child, these houses belong to My children that are not generous giving tithe and offerings. These houses will be ready and completed AFTER My children give more tithes and offerings in My House.”

2.) Ricardo Cid – 8 Hours in Heaven testimony

I started running up and down the gold street and picking up gold dust and sprinkling it on my body. And then the Lord told me to come back and tell you that there are streets of gold in heaven. “All this belongs to my people,” the Lord said. “But, in my church there are many thieves who steal my tithes and offerings! Tell my people that no thief will enter my kingdom in heaven!” We need to straighten up our lives for the Lord

3. Laura Wanma  – Testimony of Heaven and Hell

While on a visitation to Hell with the Lord Jesus Laura testifies – ‘I saw a lot of people being tortured, and Jesus said to me “These people are not faithful with their tithe.”’
Read the full testimony here

4.) Choo Thomas – Heaven is So Real book

Choo was told by the Lord: “The only ones who will go there (Heaven) are the obedient and pure-hearted children. Tell my Children to preach the gospel. I am coming soon for those who are waiting and ready for Me.” The Lord added “Those who don’t Tithe are disobedient children”
”Should I tell this to anyone Lord?” Choo asked.
“I want you to tell it to everyone. Write down everything I show you and tell you” said the Lord. And … “Any Christian who doesnt tithe will not be blessed because they love money more than my word. Those who love money more than My Word will never see my Kingdom. You already know where they be at the end” said the Lord

5.) The 7 Colombian Youths – Revelation of Heaven & Hell

We arrived in a place that looked like a big swimming pool of fire, with thousands of men and women inside of it.  Each of them had metal plate on their chest that read: “I am here for not giving tithes and offerings”  When I read that, I asked the Lord, “Lord, how can this be possible, that people are here for this reason??”  The Lord responded, “Yes, because these people thought that tithes and offerings were not important, when my Word shows it as a command.”  In Malachi 3:8-9 it says “Will a man rob God?  Yet you are robbing Me.  But you say, ‘How have we robbed Thee?’  In tithes and offerings.  You are cursed with curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you.” The Lord told me that when His people withhold their tithes, it hinders the work of the Lord, and then the Gospel is not preached.  People in this place suffered a thousand times worse than others, because they knew the Word of the Lord and disobeyed.

6) Queen Dixon  – A Gate of Hell (vision a trip to Hell)

The GOD of all ages spoke directly to me, this is what He said to me, and let me just say that He was ANGRY. When He spoke, His voice went through my bones like a massive vibration!!! All I could do is just lay there and hear my master speak. He said: “This is the end of all sin if you do not serve me with your whole heart. I will use you to save others but you will die and go to hell. If you do not serve me with your whole heart, then you serve Me not at all.” Then the Lord of hosts got even angrier and said: “tithes and offerings are a commandment. This is how my word is preached; this is what takes care of my churches!” The Lord said: “You go and tell them….without holiness, no man can enter into my Kingdom” The Lord said to me exactly what was in the bible: “Be ye holy as I am holy!!!!”

7.) Pastor Park Yong Gyu – Visit to Heaven & Hell: 1-1000 Testimony

After arriving in Heaven ….The Lord then asked me five questions. Question 5 was: “Did you tithe properly?”…. I continued with my questions, “What shall I do on Earth to provide more materials for my home?” The angels replied, “There are seven things one must do to build up their materials to build their home. …. Fifth, one’s offering to the Lord. Sixth, their obedience in giving tithes to God….

After visiting Hell …. I then saw many pastors, elders, and deacons in Hell. I asked the angel, “I know them. They had served God faithfully while on the Earth. They had died some time ago. We all had thought they were in Heaven with God. But now, I see them all in Hell and they are crying out that it is so hot! Why are they here?” There were so many pastors, elders, deacons and all other lay believers.

The angel answered, “Pastor Park Yong Gyu, a person can appear to be a true follower of Christ on the outside but God knows the heart. They did not tithe properly (other sins were also named, see full testimony for details) ….On their death beds, they thought they had done a good job so they did not repent of those things. This is why they were thrown in the fires of Hell.”

8. Angelica Zambrano 2nd visit to Heaven & Hell

Among all those people (in Hell), I heard someone saying, “I ask for your forgiveness now Lord, because I have stolen from you, forgive me for stealing, I stole from you Lord and I do not want to do it again.” I asked, “Lord, who is he and why does he say he stole from You?” “My child I will show you who he is.” We entered his cell and I saw a disfigured man. The flames opened up and I could see that he was being tormented. All those people who are in hell have a plaque on their chest, and 666 on their forehead.

This man extended his hand and said, “Lord forgive me.” I asked, “Why are you here?”… He replied, “I’ll tell you my story. I was a Christian leader, for 20 years I had known Christ, but during the 20 years I said: all that money from my tithing and offerings were just to sustain the pastors, but now I regret it because I understand and I know that it wasn’t for them, it was for the Lord, and that is why I say I have stolen from God. At this very moment there are many people on Earth that are robbing the Lord like I did. When you return to Earth, tell all those people who don’t want to give their offerings and tithes, not to steal from the Lord, otherwise, they’ll wind up in Hell, and no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I knew the Holy Word, now I regret it and realize I robbed the Lord.”  (Mal 3,8) He said, “Tell the people when they give to God, give the Lord with true love.” (2Cor 9,7) This man kept pleading, “Lord forgive me”, and the Lord replied, “It is too late, there is no opportunity for you.”

Tithing heaven hell testimonies

Lets look at the 4 main reasons why tithing is for the believer today:

Firstly, its a continuing moral command. Some will say we are not under the law now under grace so tithing is not required. But Tithing is not a sacrificial, ceremonial or temple law that in the NT are clearly explained as no longer required, rather it is a moral law or command. Not tithing is defined as stealing in the following scripture “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say,‘ In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offering” (Mal 3, 8), and is a commandment not a suggestion, Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts” (Mal 3,10)

Moral laws or commands against such things as stealing, lying, adultery, idolatry, will always be wrong & punishable, and moral laws for things like putting God first, honoring your parents & tithing will always be required, as they reflect God’s unchanging righteousness, and are repeated in the New Testament. As Jesus said …

“Do NOT think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, TILL heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called LEAST in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven.’ For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5, 17-20)

“Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that is what] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God’s law by transgression or neglect—being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will).” (1John3,4 AMP)

Secondly, Tithing is also a pre-law principle of putting God first with our money that we see first with Abraham and the Patriarch’s in the book of Genesis, “And he gave him [Melchizedek] a tithe of all” (Gen 14,20).

Thirdly, Many Christians are not aware of this, but in the New Testament, tithing reappears in the priesthood of Jesus.  Hebrews 6:19 speaks about the inner sanctuary behind the curtain and tells us, Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek”  (Heb 6,20). So, Jesus is our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

The book of Hebrews goes on to explain the part tithing played in the priesthood of Melchizedek and in the high priesthood of Jesus, Just think how great he [Melchizedek] was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder!  Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people — that is, their brothers — even though their brothers are descended from Abraham.  This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.  [Notice the emphasis on the tenth.]  And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. [Abraham was lesser than Melchizedek because he was blessed by Melchizedek.]   In the one case [the case of the Lord], the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living (Heb 7,4-8)

The priesthood of Melchizedek is an eternal priesthood because the one who is in this priesthood never dies. Hebrews states Jesus lives forever as a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, the new covenant order. And in His priesthood He receives the tithes of His people.

So we can see that tithing has a continuous history from Abraham onwards: from Abraham to Jacob, to the nation of Israel, and then to Christians through the ministry of Jesus as our High Priest.  According to Scripture, when we set aside our first tenth and offer our tithe to Jesus, we are actually acknowledging that Jesus is our High Priest according to the priesthood of Melchizedek.  This is one of the ways we are able to honour Him and acknowledge Him as our High Priest.” (for more on this point see Tithing teaching by Derek Prince)

Fourthly, Tithing is appears in the New Testament seven times (3 times by Jesus, 4 times in Hebrews) and never does it say the practice has been finished. Jesus said twice in the Gospel’s “…For you pay TITHE of mint, anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, WITHOUT LEAVING THE OTHERS UNDONE” (Matt 23, 23). So Jesus said to do it. Some try to make tithing a finished issue along with old testament issues like circumcision. But lets compare them: Circumcision was raised as an issue of debate in the Book of Acts, it has a whole book, Galatians, written to explain its passing, the matter is finished beyond question. But tithing has no scriptures at all stating its finished, no not one, either by Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, no one. But we have Jesus and the book of Hebrews reaffirming its place.

These points should settle the issue without people trying to look for a theological loop hole as many do in their own deception. But many try to use a scripture by Paul about cheerful giving to disregard tithing (which it does not and never mentions tithing), but this is in error as Paul’s words (about helping a church in need) are only additional to Jesus teaching, they do not replace them. From Paul’s words we need to ensure we give tithes and offerings cheerfully and gratefully, not arguing and grumbling about it. Jesus’s words are the foremost in the church upon which others are built.

So tithing is a continuing moral command, a pre-law principle of putting God first, a part of honoring Jesus in his high priestly ministry in the order of Melchizedek, is reaffirmed by Jesus & Hebrews, and has not one scripture saying its finished, so we best obey.

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus which cannot be earned, but God’s word is also clear that many grace saved Christians will not make it to Heaven because of failing to repent, and continued disobedience & lawlessness in their lives. His word says those who name His name Must depart from iniquity, and that those who truly love Him are the ones who obey His commandments (1John 2,4-5)

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7, 24-27)  … or as the Amplified says you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

“This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.” (1 John 5, 3-4).’

I submit that God’s word is clear that tithing is for todays believers and not tithing is stealing from God (Mal 3,8), and it also says that no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven (1Cor 6,10). Don’t risk damning your soul over non-tithing or by believing the false anti-tithing teachings. Take heed of these warnings, they are not given in vain.

If you now realise you need to start tithing, confess your sin and repent today, and start giving your tithe (the first 10th or 10% of your income). If you are struggling financially, ask for His help, His grace is sufficient to help you find a way out of financial troubles and empower you to live obediently. We must also be willing to make sacrifices of other things to put God first with our money. If your still wrestling with this issue, simply seek God with an open and humble heart and ask Him to reveal the 100% truth on the matter. He promised if you would ask, you will received.

Consider sharing this with others who need it.

103 Responses to TITHING shown in 8 HEAVEN & HELL Testimonies

  1. catherine says:

i thank God for His word ,irecieve race frm him to tithe and give offering ..alleluya

  2. James says:

Great article…. this is an important truth!! ~We must take this seriously… There is a great blessing and peace when we obey God no matter what we face…

    Deuteronomy 8:18
“…18 But you shall remember the Lord Your God: for it is He that gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day..”

So we are blessed by Him that we may have enough to give back to Him in tithes and offerings to establish His covenant work in the earth, and also to live blessed lives. Amen.

  3. Indira says:

    I need to start tithing.

  5. Bro Sunday says:

    Thank you God bless you.

  6. Bro Sunday says:

Pls i need more clarification on these 2 issues. 1.For someone that has stopped tithing for some months and he is now repented to start tithing. How would he go about it? should he calculate the areas for all the past months. or should he start afresh for the new month? 2.A business that invest 20,000 to realize 100,000 as gain. How much would he give as tithe? 10,000 or 15,000. Thank you and God bless you.

    • Seek God about it, surrendering it to him for the answer but if still unsure you can always pay it all back. Most important is to repent and start now and not go back to the wrong way.

Secondly, 10% of the increase, which if Im understanding your example correctly would be $10,000

      • Bro Sunday says:

Thank you so much for your response. It really helps. God bless you. I ve already suffered so many loss in the recent months which i know it is due to a break in my monthly tithing. Even after God revealed unto me that i must tithe. There ve been series of warning God has been showing me. Until I saw ur post on this topic yesterday. Now I am repenting. Brother pls pray for me for His grace. Because I am passing through a lot of financial commitment right now.

  7. obagunwa kemi says:

I have been gambling with with my tithe… sometimes i pay and other times i dont pay. i never understood the consequences until i read this… Lord, am so so sorry…

  8. PAULINA says:

Thank u and God bless u for this message

  9. Id say Yes. Tithe is 10% of your income/increase regardless of where it comes from

    • Tarhe Oghene says:

Ok Thanks. Also must i pay my entire tithe to my church or can i sometimes in my discretion use my tithe to help some of the charities i support?

      • Mostly the church Id say, but pray for his leading as its his tithe & He can direct you regarding those also. Read the other article on this site “How to be led by the Spirit of God”

  10. I hope I understand your situation correctly, but it sounds like 13 is your actual income, the rest is for the house. EG if you took from the 17 would it be considered stealing? If so, then the 17 isnt yours, and the tithe is just on the 13

  11. freddy says:

I need help in this matter, i tithed for two months and stopped because i ddnt want to do something i dont understand, what happens if your are in debts and you sarlary is not enough to pay all your debt every month, you even skip some of the payments sometimes just to balance your payments, what do you do in this case do you continue paying tithe while drowning in debts? And also do you pay your tithe after tax or b4 tax?

    • Freddy, you are in a difficult situation and perhaps (not knowing your case) it may have been a lack of wisdom and not following God’s word (which says to owe no one anything – Rom 13) that lead you there. So the place to start is to submit it all to God and obey Him. Yes tithe first, as God is before your tax and expenses. Seek Him to help you & bless you to remove the burden of debt, there is a blessing on the tithe. It may not be fixed immediately but over time, so you must persevere in doing right. Also repent of any unwise practices & choices that brought you into debt. And practically, sell what can to pay it back and cut expenses to only truly needed things. God has asked you to test Him in this matter (Mal 3,8-10) and see that He is faithful to provide. Now can you believe? I was in a similar situation many years ago, and did the above, and yes He was faithful, amen

  12. stiff says:

    2 Corinthian 9:7 – 8
7Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

    • Yes this is one of most often misquoted scriptures people try to use to discredit tithing, but it never says and never does replace tithing, it is simply an encouragement to give (above the tithe) with the right heart to help a other churches in need. Pauls words are only built on top of Jesus’s words, they dont replace them. There is no scripture in the New Testament saying tithing is finished, no not one! and its mentioned 7 times, so we best obey. If any one is confused the 8 Heaven and Hell testimony warnings should have made things clear

  13. My advice is to obey God and put Him first in all those matters, give him the Sunday (the Lord’s Day – its His day, the whole day) its not a day for business. Also read this testimony – https://christiscoming777.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/testimony-of-heaven-and-hell-1-1000-by-pastor-park-yong-gyu/ .
When we put Him first we will see his blessing. Your tithe is 10% of your income, not the business but your personal take home income. Sounds like you will need to work that out correctly.
Regarding the phone, Id advise confessing the sin to God and going to the police to offer to turn it in. Again honesty will bring His blessing. Please also read this testimony regarding this issue – https://christiscoming777.wordpress.com/2012/05/11/time-is-fast-running-out-testimony-of-hell-heaven-by-victoria-nehale/

  14. From the creation to the resurrection it was clearly the 7th day of the week (Gen 2,3). In the NT, we see the pattern changing in the early church of where they are coming together on the 1st day of the week (our Sundays) – “Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread” (Acts 20,7) … “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.” (1Cor 16,1-2). The language used here is not trivial, it included Apostolic orders, shows a pattern, covers important issues of devotion (breaking bread, gathering together, offerings, preaching) and covered the churches in Paul reached in his mission work. The Holy Spirit inspired these verses & new direction stating the 1st day of the week for clear reasons.

Sunday or the 1st day of the week is called the Lords Day (Rev 1,10), the day he rose from the dead (1st day of week). As Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, the Sabbath for Christians was moved to the Lord Day’s, Sunday. It reflects celebrating the new creation in Christ, deliverance not just from Egypt but from sin & death, the day he started the church (the day of Pentecost was the first day of the week), the established worship gathering day in the early church, and pattern of early church fathers who sat under the apostles etc. down to this day it is the very reason that, regardless of our view, nearly all churches still meet on Sundays. “This expression, the Lord’s day, is found by the ancient use of the whole Christian church, by what appears in all the writings of ancient times, even from the apostles’ days, to signify the first day of the week.” (Jonathon Edwards) For more info read this – http://www.biblebb.com/files/edwards/sabbath.htm

  15. Chizoba says:

If, as a student, I received pocket money from my parents, should I tithe on it?

  16. Paul says:

In our family, sometimes we eat at home, other times we eat out. When we eat out, our father would give us money to finance the feeding. When we receive such money meant for personal feeding [breakfast, lunch or supper], should we pay tithe on it?

  17. doriseru says:

Pls how do I pay my tithe when there’s no source of income? I’m not working and I don’t have any business I’m running, pls how do I handel this?

    • If you get no income, then 10% of nothing is nothing. But seek God for many other ways you may serve Him.

      • Nupoor says:

      • Nupoor, be blessed in seeking and serving the Lord, it is a narrow hard road but the rewards are Great Yes!! I will send you a message on your email.

  18. Nupoor says:

    Thanks to jesus

    • Daniba says:

Yes Nupoor, the beginning is very tough. You may not have anyone to keep you company right now but know that you have many companions all over the world, as many as love Jesus dearly in their hear are your brothers, sisters etc in Christ. Just remain steadfast in Christ. God will help you and even make you a pillar for as many as He will save through you.

  19. ThankGod says:

    Thank you. Jesus help me.

  20. Liliko says:

i am so blessed reading the comments, questions and answers. I have not been giving the tithes for a long while now and had overlooked the consequences to disobeying the Lord in this. I am so thankful for all the concerns raised regarding this matter. I have one question concerning lusts. There’s two kinds of lusts mentioned in the bible, right? One is lust of the flesh and the other is the lust of the eyes. Can you help me understand how they are different from each other? Another thing is, is it wrong of me to lust after my husband?

    • Hi Liliko, thats good, God is sheading much light on the subject. The lust of the eyes would cover looking at porn, looking at another person’s body parts and imagining sexual things, and can also be with food, and other material things which produce greediness & covetousness – its evil desire playing out in the mind. Lust of the flesh would include desires leading to masturbation, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and again can also include gluttony & greed, its evil desire gratified with the body. The first lust normally leads to the second. With your husband its better to sanctify the desire into one of making love together, whereas lust is all about gatifying your own desires

  21. James says:

Hi I, have question is it more right to give your tithe to the church or with the amount help the homeless in the streets directly or anyone that might need help cause you would be aware that in some churches or religious organization , the pastor uses the amount for his own pleasure ??

  22. Mike Peralta says:

Read my new book: “Tithe or Hell Your Choice” by Mike Peralta. It explains with scripture that those who do not tithe end up in Hell. Summary is as follows:
    1. Those who do not tithe are robbing God (Malachi 3:8) and therefore they are thieves.
    2. According to 1 Cor 6:9-10 thieves do not go to heaven (i.e. they go to Hell).
    3. Due to the word of God (points 1 and 2) those who do not tithe go to Hell.
This is God’s clear word. What are you going to believe? God’s word or man’s word?

  23. Constance says:

God bless you so much , l have been blessed with all these contributions and answers to it. Please l need to be cleared on the tithe issue. l believe in tithing and l have been paying my tithe and offering since l started working, but on (Income After Tax) because in my office we don’t have any pay slip , l only pay my tithe on the amount written on the cheque given to me or paid into my account. Now according to you , you said (Income Before Tax) and l had already calculated the underpaid tax now to be paid on Sunday in our church. But my prayer is that God will forgive me and all the tithe l had paid so far will be recorded as tithe in heaven instead of offering.

  24. victor inya says:

Thankz,I have a question, should i be paying tithes monthly or weekly and is it from my daily money or monthly money

    • Hi Inya, Its best to give it the next church service after you receive it. If payed every 2 weeks then the next sunday after you get paid etc.
Its 10% of your income from whenever you get paid

  25. Danny says:

Nice article. I have two questions.

    1) The thief that died next to Jesus on the cross, the one who asked Him to remember me when you come into your kingdom and Jesus promised that today you shall be with me in paradise; did he tithe and if not would he have gone to hell despite what Jesus said.

    2) People who are on their death beds, and someone tell’s them about salvation through Jesus Christ and they believe and repent, however they have never tithed, will they go to hell?

I do believe in giving as God as commanded. Questions on this subject (tithe) exceeds the answers, so I believe there needs to be revelation into this matter. People should give but people must also seek understanding. Revelation from the Holy Spirit into this matter will make a cheerful giver.

Finally, we must never ever over look the authority of the Old Testament and more specifically the Torah (the first five books). Every teaching, and experiences (heaven and hell visits) must be inline with the authority of the Torah, and if it isn’t, it is questionable?

    Blessings in Jesus name.

    • The answers to those 2 questions are obvious (they were saved by faith through His grace) , dont miss the point – that refusing to tithe to when commanded to when they have opportunity to is disobedience. Continued disobedience leads to Hell as is outlined in the Bible and these warning testimonies. Seek Him for more light on the issue, but also obey Him now in the light that you already have.

  26. stevems says:

i agree totally with this message. it is greed that is worryimg us. may GOG HELP US. HOW DOES A PASTOR THAT IS NOT ON SALARY PAY TITHE HIS INCOME IS MAINLY FROM D TITHE. MARANATHA!

    • Emma says:

Numbers 18: 26 in the bible
26“Tell the descendants of Levi that when they receive tithes from the Israelis (the tithes that I’ve given you from them as an inheritance), you are to offer a tenth of it as a raised offering for the LORD. 27 Your raised offerings are to be accounted for you as though it were grain from threshing floors and full produce from wine vats. 28 You are to offer a raised offering to the LORD from all your tithes that you receive from the Israelis.

Can not paying tithe be responsible for someone involving in accident often this is my situation, I have been involved in an accident twice within 2 month what is the solution

  29. wallace maulid says:

Is tithe from gross income or net income? If from net I can afford but if from gross it is highly impossible cos gross from net will be half of my salary?

    • The first 10% – gross. Seek God for confirmation and His leading & provision.

    • Pililani says:

from the way i understand it….it must be Net Income not Gross Income (the Money you have) ..
just like in Business…its 10% of the profit (the Money you Have after tax Deductions)

Jesus said “Give to caesar what belongs to caesar…and to God what belongs to God (tithe..etc)..

      • I take it to mean the first fruits go to God, the first 10% before other things. Ask Him.

      • Pililani says:

Now i understand you…..we are saying the Same thing….

hhhhh….These modern pastors, Prophets etc are misleading many people to Hell….Many Preach that Tithing is not a command….

  32. Julian says:

I would remind the readers that it is not only tithing which we must do but give offerings as well.

Notice what Malachi 3:8 says that Israel were robbing God of:

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

  34. Joyce Nartey says:

Thank you and God bless you. Please I want to understand this in order to do the right thing. From the testimony I read, what must the tithe be used specifically for? I am asking because the man was in hell not because he did not pay tithes but because it was used to SUSTAIN PASTORS.I pay my tithes regularly and normally don,t bother what it is used for because I thought it was the responsibility of the spiritual leaders of the church. Please what does God Himself requires? apart from what I know in the Bible i.e. that there may meat in my house

    • It was the case that the Pastor used all the tithe for just himself, not part for his pay and the rest for the work of the Kingdom, the poor, for evangelism etc. We give it, the pastors are held accountable for what they do with it.

  35. Tammy says:

My husband and I are very blessed with our finances but we do not tithe. I have been growing and seeking The Lord for a few years now and now and now God is really speaking to me to tithe. My heart is heavy because I want to obey this command. My husband is retired and I have no income now. When I married him he wasn’t a Christian and now he goes to Church with me every week and is slowly growing as a new Christian. I thank God everyday for his spiritual growth but He doesn’t spend the time in Gods word yet so his understanding about tithing principals and his faith to trust God completely is not clear to him yet. I gently bring it up and he is getting more open to it. But i want to obey and i want to tell my husband that we are robbing from God. The scriptures say to obey your your husband but it also says to stand firm and obey God too. What should I do? I don’t want to go to hell for following one command and the same for the other.

    • Tammy, start with prayer, and share the scriptures with him, and follow the directions of the Spirit of God. Also share this article with him, and other testimonies of Heaven and Hell on this site, eternity will awaken in his heart.

But we are mandated of God to turn many unto the righteousness of God and keep them in track of Heaven. I really love this site. It is loaded of inspired articles. Please, sir, pray for us. And again, how can we know this ministry well. Either, by contact number.

  37. In deed for sure we must read and understand the word of God in spirit. As the bible says in john 1:1- that in the beginning there was a word and the word was with God and the word was God therefore, every word written in the bible is with God hence should not be undermined. Let us keep vigil , Jesus Christ is coming back for prepared church.

    • You should seek Him to whom you will give account, and who is your helper. Is anything to hard for God? Bring your issues openly before Him. Consider each instruction here -> Proverbs 3,5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. 9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.”

  41. Various people try to post their false anti-tithing theologies here, all I can say is you have been warned. This post is not a light opinion on the matter , re-read the strong repeated warnings the LORD has given and continues to give. Take heed. Seek His face about it. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end therefore is death (Proverbs)

  42. Angela Nangalama says:

Its a principal pastors emphasize in church but its hardest we practice as pastors because who reminds them of tithing n where do they take their tithe. We need to study n practice the word so the anointing may flow to the church . be teachers as well as role models

How and where do I pay tithes when i dont attend church?
As there are dead and lukewarm churches around here where I live and I get grieved easily.
So I am unsure if i should tithe to them regardless as I know its all about me paying God first not to the church or pastors.
I am still currently searching for a true bible church.
And is tithing via eft web banking okay or should we tithe in person?
    Appreciate wisdom here.

  47. On many dilemma’s you must seek and hear from God lest you be tossed by different opinions. Seek and know the witness of the Sprit to guide you in life and choices. I don’t know of trusted testimonies regarding birth control. However the morning after pill is an abortion pill, as its used after conception not to block conception. So I would not want to be giving that out. And personally I also set aside my sundays just for the Lord , holy to Him.

I’ve been studying hebrews 7. I’ve been at ither for 11 years. After reading this it clearly states the discontinuing and annulment of tithing. Was wondering why it is not mentioned in this article. Am I wrong and how so according to these scriptures? A Tither.

    • You are incorrect. It is clearly saying the Old Covenant is replaced by the New Covenant, not tithing. The law made nothing perfect, yes sacrificing lambs couldn’t save someone but the sacrifice of the cross could. Now Jesus would be our priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek. And what does the chapter say of Melchizedek, that he received tithes from Abraham, and Melchizedek was a type of Christ and the new covenant priesthood. So Heb 7 confirms tithing

      • `Keep it holy` means to be set apart just for God, so the focus is to be on doing God’s thing not our thing. There is plenty of time in the rest of the week to do our thing, and letting go of our thing for a day a week is spiritually healthy.
Yes you need to be careful of those things, yoga is a hindu spiritual exercise and needs to be renounced and forsaken. The Bible type of meditation is to think on God’s word, different from eastern type which is buddhist. A healthy diet is good and healing can come from faith in God’s word and His glorious presence. Seek God, but I would not be doing those chinese internal exercises

  54. Ruth Ghartey says:

If you are divorced by ur husband is it a sin to remarry…? Kindly help me in prayer I know I have the call of God to preach but I do not no how to go about it. Again my family belongs to the Jehovah gwitness church where they do not believe in tithe or offering pls help me and my family in prayers. Ilost three of my siblings but cants say they are in heaven . I have three kids pius, favored and Samantha pls help me in prayers so I don’t lose my kids to he devil.

    • Hi Ruth, firstly are you saved? The JWs cult and faith does not lead to salvation, if you are still in it. To be sure read this –> https://christiscoming777.com/salvation/

    • Ruth, Yes, it is true as the ‘brother’ says that we must be born again first and foremost.
On the matter of remearriage after divorce, you must search the Scriptures. It may be helpful to read what the Bible (God) calls adultery. While the command not to commit adultery is in the Old Testament and the new, there are about 5 definitions as to what it is, and they are all in the New Testament.
Also look firsly at where adutlerers will go if they do not repent. 1 Cor 6:9,10. Heb 13:4. Proverbs 6:32 – it goes both ways for the man or the woman.
Adultery of the heart – just as damning as the physical act – Matt 5;28. The physical act Matt 5;32; Matt 19:9; Mrk 10:19; Luke 16:18; Romans 7:2-3 “shall be called an adulteress (again it includes men and women)..

There are some well known Bible teachers and scholars who seem to have investigated thoroughly into this matter. But they cannot be absoltuely certain that if one was to take their advice and remarry after divorce if and when the other spouse in found to have committed fornication, (some include the clause ‘or have gone away from the Lord Jesus’), every thing would be alright. While they teach that this is perfectly valid, they cannot give an absolute ruling on it, but strongly lean on that view.
This to me is playing with souls bound for Heaven or Hell. Either it is absolutely okay to do so or it is not. If there is the slightest doubt about it, it is not worth it to remarry on those grounds. God will nourish you as you serve Him without a spouse.

Mark 10:19 and Luke 16:18 and Matthew 5:28 are perfectly clear and unambiguous. Those ruliings are soimple and plain as is the Romans 7 passage. We do not sin if we do not remarry, but we may be sinning if we do remarry on those grounds of fornication .

Most Bible scholars only allow for fornication and no other reason, although some may say on grounds of severe abuse it is okay to remarry after divorce. Paul tells us that the believer ought not to separate. Let God work it out and trust in Him to solve the issue. Easier said than done, but God is not unable to help in such cases and do what man cannot do either to take a life, or work some other way..
I heard just recently about a Christian woman who ended up finding out her husband had another wife elsewhere. In this case divorce would seem to be the only option. But it may be better to ask God to intervene rather than take action oneself. Read 1 Corinthians 7 too.
You will find many conflciting views out there, but remember, they are not your judge; God is and His Word is plain, do not go into doubtful areas. Also it is important to knwo that while God hates both dicorce and adutlery, these sins can be forgiven if confessed before the Lord in truth and honesty.

God bless you Ruth as you seek His will.

    • Tahira says:

Hi Ruth, it would help you if you read the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians Chapter 7. However, 1 Corinthians Chapter 7:39-40 says that ..” The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; BUT IF HER HUSBAND BE DEAD, SHE IS AT LIBERTY TO BE MARRIED TO WHOM SHE WILL; ONLY IN THE LORD. But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgement: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.”

  55. justine says:

nice work Christ is Coming. I am blessed of your ministry.

id share to share something, one of our old friends teaches us that we ‘re not under the LAW OF MOSES.Then it came up to my mind, “what about tithing, as i a new testament believer should i give my tithes?” but to tell u i continuesly gave my tithes.
now my question is, since we are not under law but under grace, is it correct not to follow moses law? because tithing is one of the 10 commandments..
even though they teaches like that i give tithe even more

    • Hi Justine, thanks, the answer is covered in the teaching, have a re-read. To clarify: Tithing is a pre-law principle of faith of giving God the first of our income, and it was also in the law of Moses, and it is a continuing moral command as confirmed by Jesus. So although many try to make it so, it is not a grace vs law issue. Being under grace is not a licence to disobey his commands, rather we are empowered to obey them – Romans 6.

  58. Purity says:

I feel really convicted over my lack of tithing though mostly caused by the unabashed greed of religious leaders. I would like to start giving my tithes and offerings but am currently in a dire financial situation having carelessly taken a loan that has forced me to cut down majorly on my expenses. What can I do? Secondly, should I tithe on my gross or net income? Finally does God require me to make good on all the income that I did not tax?

  59. Lloyd Keeley says:

I wish to ask about the first fruits offerings. Do they result from the sale of goods where non work was involved? For example such as selling a house or property? I think the lord will regard 10% of the proceeds as a first fruits offering.

  60. Paloma says:

Do we also need to tithe on gifts we receive, such as money others give to us on our birthday?
